Brooklyn Roebuck gearing up for YTV’s Next Star finale
Chatham’s own Brooklyn Roebuck is getting closer to finding out if she’ll become YTV’s Next Star!
The finale for the program will be held on Sunday at Canada’s Wonderland, and the 14-year-old singer is hoping to gather more online votes than the 5 other contestants who’ve made it to the finals.
However, Roebuck says everyone in the Top 6 has become very close friends throughout the contest.
“It doesn’t really seem like it’s a competition because we’re just so much like family,” she said. “All of us worked just as hard. Whoever wins, really deserves it.”
Roebuck says she’s working hard preparing for Sunday’s finale, doing lots of singing and choreography.
She added the entire experience has been great, especially making her music video for “The Way I See You” (see below).
