People are being encouraged to wear a tie on Monday, in support of a Port Lambton native and Wallaceburg District Secondary School grad.

Pete Cram, who is a former Student Council Prime Minister at WDSS and the Quarterback of the Kent Championship winning Tartan Football team in 1999, is currently in a coma in a Toronto hospital.

Pete suffered some head trauma after bumping his head during a bicycle accident last Friday.

Pete teaches at Western Tech High school in Toronto, and one of his students posted in a Facebook group dedicated to him, that Mr. Cram always wore a tie on Mondays because Mondays are usually a bit more gloomy, but dressing up and looking sharp makes things a bit better.

People are being encouraged to post pictures of themselves wearing their ties in support of Pete on Monday.

Check out the Facebook group right here.

RIP mr cram u will be missed <3 :'(
i will miss seeing you in the halls at school and ur big smile that made every students day so much more better.
"God looked around his garden, and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth, and saw your tired face. he put his arms around you, and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best. He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb, so he closed your weary eyelids, and whispered "peace be thine". It broke our, hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you, the day god called you home".
U WILL ALWAYS HAVE A PLACE IN OUR HEARTS.
THIS IS NOT A GOODBYE ITS MORE OF A SEE YOU LATER.
