Police investigating stabbing in downtown Chatham

The Chatham-Kent Police is currently investigating an incident that took place in downtown Chatham early this morning.

At around 1:40 a.m. police were called to the parking lot of Spanky’s Bar in response to a stabbing.

The Chatham-Kent Police Criminal Investigations Branch is currently investigating this incident.

Little information is available at this time as officers are still investigating.

The victim is a 23-year-old man.

He was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and remains in stable condition.

Police remain at the scene.

    That cesspool needs to be shut down. It does NOTHING to help Chatham’s image and booze and stripping never will help any city’s image.
