As the attempted murder investigation continues, people will be putting on their dancing boots in support of a Wallaceburg cab driver.

John Chatel, a driver with Cadilac Cabs, was brutally assaulted on Walpole Island earlier this month, and he remains in critical condition at a London hospital.

Walpole Island Police and the Lambton OPP are continuing their investigation.

In support of Chatel, a fundraising dance will be held at Sam’s Hotel tonight from 8 p.m. until midnight.

The theme is country and cover is $10.

I heard this dance was for teens, with no alcohol being served, but your article doesn’t indicate this. Do you know?
