A total of $30,000 damage was caused yesterday after a blaze broke out on Edway Street in Wallaceburg.

Fire officials say the fire was free burning at back of the house when crews arrived yesterday just before 5 p.m.

Flames were shooting out the back window of house, igniting the exposed shed on the back.

Investigators determined the blaze is not suspicious.

About $70,000 worth of property was saved.
