We are off ca$h mobbing again tomorrow, Saturday June 23rd. A cash mob is a group of people who assemble at a local business and all buy items from that business. The purpose of these mobs is to support both the local businesses and the overall community. We will be meeting on the deck at The Black Goose on James Street at 1pm.

We will then proceed as a group to CK Spices, Coffee and Teas to make a small purchase. Any purchase will do although we suggest you might like to spend $10.00.

Wallaceburg Ca$h Mob is an initiative of SydenhamCAT who bring you the 4th Friday Culture Crawl. Please come and join us, and don’t forget we meet at The Black Goose so that we can go as a group.

“Going local does not mean walling off the outside world. It means nurturing locally owned businesses which use local resources sustainably, employ local workers at decent wages and serve primarily local consumers. It means becoming more self-sufficient and less dependent on imports. Control moves from the boardrooms of distant corporations and back into the community where it belongs.”

- Michael H. Shuman, author of the book Going Local.
