50yearresident…you said it “its about Chatham”. The planning committee could have booked accordingly.

Sorry Wallaceburger – there was no local planning committee. The PC team handled the booking.

Pfft… If a person focuses on the negative of everything then you end up going backwards instead of forward.

I really don’t think the organizers of the BBQ scheduled that weekend because of some sinister plan to ‘out do’ Wallaceburg. I’m a Wallaceburger and I am very happy for our neighbours to the South. It won’t effect Wambo in the slightest.

    Congrats again to Chatham!

Thanks Tim. Really, there is stuff happening everywhere in C-K in the summer on the weekend. Even more than one thing in Wallaceburg some weekends.

When outside visitors come to Wallaceburg, family or whatever, they need more than one thing to do.

Maybe we should arrange a pity party that weekend as well, give more choice to the “Wallaceburgers”

Folks the date for the event was selected months ago. The PC team jumps from Province to Province throughout the summer, they run these events all across the country. There is an immense amount of planning and coordination that goes into these things. The last thing on these guys radar would be a plan to slight another community. Be happy that the event is coming here at all. Sit down and actually give 30 seconds of thought before you post, PC is trying to do some good PR for a little community, let’s stop any falsely perceived negativity in its tracks.
