Dinner and Dance for Dresden Community Healthcare Centre

The Dresden Kinsmen Club is getting set to host it’s first ever Lobster/Prime Rib Dinner & Dance on Saturday June 9 at the Lambton Kent Memorial Arena Floor.

And tickets are nearly sold out.

Chrystal Wills of McKellar Flowers in Dresden says she suggests that people call ahead for tickets because sales are getting close to their limit.

“Dave Cameron and Carl MacDonald decided a little while back that they wanted to do this and so far so good, they’ve had a really good response,” said Wills.

But the dinner won’t be the only thing that is drawing people in. There will also be some music playing during the dinner and afterwards during the dance.

The headline performers will be Snake Bite, a local group that plays a little of everything.

“We had them at the jamboree a year ago,” said Wills, “They do country with a little bit of rock–something for everybody.”

Doors will open at 5pm, dinner will start at 6pm and the dance is expected to begin at around 8pm.

Entrance to only the dance is $10.

The proceeds from the event will be going towards the Dresden Community Healthcare Centre.
