Medical Musical Fundraiser in Dresden
The Dresden Community Healthcare Foundation is hosting a fundraising musical night tonight at the Dresden Community Church.
And they’re hoping for all the support they can get.
Tony Grubb, the Chairman of the foundation, says they have a whole lot of local talent lined up for tonight.
The CK singers, the Treble Makers, and the choirs from First Baptist and Union Baptist Churches will be performing as well as Alex Kiar on the Violin and Madison Perry on the Cello.
Tonight’s event is only one of many fundraising events that have taken place so far, but according to Grubb, their efforts are doing quite well.
“We have about 25 percent of our 1.6 million dollar goal either pledged or donated already,” said Grubb.
Admission to tonight’s event is free, but donations are welcome. The night will begin at 7PM.
