Police seeking suspect after robbery at Blenheim ATM

Police are seeking tips from the public after a robbery at a Blenheim ATM last night. Here are the latest details form the Chatham-Kent Police Service:

The Chatham-Kent Police are seeking information about a robbery last night.

Shortly before 9:00 p.m., police responded to a robbery at the Bank of Montreal on Talbot Street West in Blenheim. The female victim was using the ATM when she was approached from behind and a man grabbed her wallet. The suspect immediately fled on foot.

Officers flooded the area and began tracking with a police dog however the man was not located.

The 41- year-old female victim was not injured during this incident.

The male suspect is described as being approximately 5’8”, slender build, wearing blue jeans, maroon coat and what appeared to be a dark coloured balaclava.
