The community has rallied together for the Smith family – the victims of Saturday’s Wren Line explosion.
Patty Smith and her daughter are all moved into a new place, which was donated to them.
Dave Smith, who was in the home during the explosion along with Patty, was expected to be released from the hospital yesterday as well.
Patty Smith told us there had to angels following them on the day of the blast.
She added she is lost for words for the admiration she feels for the community for helping her and her family as well.
Members of the Wallaceburg community has gathered up all the basics, clothes, fridge, stove, washer, dryer, beds, dressers, tv, table and chairs.
Fire officials have ruled the blast as accidental, and the Ontario Fire Marshall is continuing their investigation.
