On Friday, September 23, 2011, representatives from Chatham-Kent Bayshore Home Health’s Palliative Committee presented a cheque for $3,659.30, to the Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) in support of CKHA’s Palliative Care Department.

The donation was made possible through several fundraising initiatives held by the committee over the past year, including a Yuk Yuk’s event held in Chatham in March, a 50/50 Draw, a staff BBQ and through Bayshore Home Health’s fund matching program.

Bayshore Home Health employee, Elizabeth, even shaved her head, raising $1,080 with the help of donations from her colleagues, for the cause!
