Dover Kinsmen and Kinettes make big donations

The Dover Kinsmen and Kinnettes Club was in a giving spirit this week.

The local group handed out two significant donations, one to the Chatham-Kent Children’s Treatment Centre, and the other to the Chatham-Kent Children’s Safety Village.

The Treatment Centre were given $10,000 and the Safety Village received a cheque for $12,500.

Art Stirling of the Treatment Centre said the funds will go towards their adaptive sports program.

The Dover raised the funds through various events that were held in the past year.
