After their first home loss of the season at the hands of the Belle River Canadiens, the Wallaceburg Lakers rebounded in a big way on the road, defeating the Blenheim Blades 7-1 Monday in Blenheim.
Six Wallaceburg players enjoyed multi-point nights including Dustin Cope with 2 goals, Norm Leger, Tyson Isaac, and Nash Lozon with 1 goal and 1 assist each, and Rob Pollock and Brandon Butler with 2 assists each.
Other Lakers goal scorers were Sam Jasmin and Jordan Belanger. The lone Blenheim Blades goal came at 15:33 of the third period off the stick of Jarrod Oliphant. For Blenheim, the game marked another poor defensive effort.
