At approximately 7:24 pm last night, Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a call of a 23 year old man was acting in a dangerous manner in the club house of Links of Kent by swing a golf club at patrons.
When officers arrived they subdued the man and arrested him for Weapons Dangerous to the Public Peace. During the arrest, one of the police officers received a minor injury, and was treated and released from Hospital.
The accused was assessed during booking by the officer-in-charge, and deemed that the accused required a psychiatric assess. The accused was released from police custody on an officer in-charged release to appear in court at a later date.
The accused was transported to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and admitted for psychiatric assessment by medical professionals.

Check your spelling in the first paragraph, it’s “Links” not “Kinks”. Although I’d be much more inclined to purchase a membership if that was correct.

Hmm… lotsa fun we could have with that one, but I’ll leave it alone.
Thanks for pointing it out though – good for a laugh.

Too bad the guy didn’t get in a tractor and plow up the golf course, this is one of the worst dog tracks I’ve ever seen. In fact, calling it a golf course is a real stretch.
