Highway 40 northbound and southbound, at McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg, over the Sydenham River will be closed to traffic until Tuesday, November 30th, 2010 for construction operations.
A local detour will be in effect and advanced signage is in place.

I hope there is money in the budget to repair the train tracks on Base Line at the bottom of the bridge! They were brutal before the bridge closure, and they are going to be worse in a couple of months after the excessive traffic!

hwy 40 at mcnaughton? Does that mean from the Oak’s inn to selkirk bridge is closed?

Just the bridge is closed. There is still access all the way to Wallace Street. But to cross the river, you would want to avoid McNaughton avenue – take Murray Street or Baseline to cross the Sydenham.
