Youngster run over by tractor; injuries non-life threatening

At approximately 8:30 p.m. last night, police were notified of a farm accident that occurred on Countryview Line in Chatham Township.

A man was operating a tractor and accidentally ran over his three-year-old son while reversing.

He transported his son to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.

He was later air lifted to the London Health Sciences Centre as a precaution.

His injuries appear to be non-life threatening.

The Ministry of Labour has been notified and will investigate this incident.
