Spots filling up quickly for Wheatley Idol

While there is still quite some time before the 7th annnual Wheatley Idol competition – taking place Sunday, August 1 – spots for the contest are quickly piling up.

“We are now over 50 per cent full,” said Darla Janzen, organizer for the competition. “Registration is filling up fast. If you know of anyone who would like to register before we are completely filled up, please let them know.”

The event is set to take place at Two Creeks Conservation Area, 1 km north of downtown Wheatley.

Radio personality Dustyn Janzen will act as the Master of Ceremonies and food will be available by 1st Wheatley Scouts.
