Wallaceburg's Matt Mapletoft 'golden' at junior curling championships

Wallaceburg resident Matt Mapletoft, 20, and his Ontario teammates are heading to Switzerland.

Mapletoft and his teammates will be heading to the world junior championships, after capturing the national junior championship last night (Jan. 24) with a 8-7 win over Manitoba.

Mapletoft currently attends Wilfred Laurier University in in Kitchener, and is a graduate of Wallaceburg District Secondary School.
