At approximately 6:30 p.m. Monday night, the victim attended a Southend Crescent address to speak to another youth about some issues arising from Facebook.
Chatham-Kent police said the victim hoped to resolve the matter peacefully but was attacked by the other youth.
During the altercation, two men joined in, punching and kicking the victim.
He attended the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for non life threatening injuries to his face and shoulder.
A 17-year-old Chatham youth, a 19-year-old Chatham man, and a 22-year-old Chatham man have all been charged with assault causing bodily harm.
They have all been released with future court dates.
Michigan man arrested after incident in Wallaceburg
Shortly before 1:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, a man attended an apartment on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg allegedly wanting to start a fight with the resident.
Police said when the resident would not come to the door, the man smashed two windows and attempted to reach inside the door to unlock it.
The victim immediately contacted police.
A 30-year-old Michigan man has been arrested and charged with mischief.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
