Blenheim soup kitchen asking for food donations

soupChatham-Kent Police Service Officers in District 2 are lending a helping hand to one of their own. Police Chaplain Tim Joyce runs a soup kitchen in Blenheim all year, and once again, Chatham-Kent Police Officers in Blenheim, Ridgetown and Thamesville are teaming up to help out.

Food collection boxes have been placed at Chatham-Kent Police Service Centres in Blenheim, Ridgetown, Thamesville and Bothwell to collect non-perishable food items. Any items collected will be presented to Police Chaplain Tim Joyce just before Christmas.

If you would like to help, bring a non-perishable food item to any of the service centers, and Police will be happy to forward your donation to a very worthy community service.
