The following is a list of road closures from across Chatham-Kent for Wednesday, Nov. 11 – where Remembrance Day parades are going to be taking place.

Ridgetown

Time: 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Parade Route: Starting at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 243 on Broadway Street and proceeding south on Broadway Street, west on Ebenezer Street, north on Church Street to Mount Zion Presbyterian Church for service. The parade will reassemble and proceed east on Main Street to Cenotaph for service. Then proceeding east on Main Street and south on Broadway Street and dispersing at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 243.
Lanes: All lanes temporarily closed for parade procession. Expect delays.
Detour Route: None.

Wheatley

Time: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Parade Route: Starting at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 324 on Erie Street and proceeding south on Erie Street to Talbot Road to the Cenotaph for service. The parade will reassemble and return to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 324 using the same route.
Lanes: All lanes temporarily closed for parade procession. Expect delays.
Detour Route: None.

Merlin

Time: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Parade Route: Starting at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 465 at #2 Stanley Street and proceeding north on Erie Street to the Cenotaph at Kinsmen Park, then proceeding south on Erie Street and east on Aberdeen Street to the Community Hall for service. The parade then will proceed west on Aberdeen Street and south on Erie Street and east on Stanley Street to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 465.

Blenheim

Time: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Parade Route: Starting at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 185 at #34 Catherine Street and proceeding east on Talbot Street, north onChatham Street North to St. Mary’s Hall for service. The parade will reassemble and return to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 185 using the same route.
Lanes: All lanes temporarily closed for parade procession. Expect delays.
Detour Route: None.

Erieau

Time: 1:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Parade Route: Starting on Mariners Road at #875 (Molly and OJ’s Restaurant) and proceeding east on Mariners Road to the Veterans Memorial Garden. After the ceremony, the parade will proceed west on Ross Lane for 120 metres and then disperse.
