Memorial concert being held for Janet Wake

Former students, colleagues and friends of the late Janet Wake will perform a memorial concert in her memory on Saturday, November 14 at St. Andrew’s United Church in Chatham at 7:30 p.m.

The program will include strings, flute, piano and voice tribute performances.

Janet was well known for her contributions to the community as a music teacher, church musician, choir director, Kiwanis Music Festival Secretary and ORMTA member.

The concert is presented by the Ontario Registered Music Teachers’ Association Chatham-Kent Branch.

A freewill offering will be taken to help establish a scholarship in her memory.
