Funeral arrangements set for Cassie Walker

The visitation and funeral arrangements have been made for 16-year-old Cassie Walker, who was killed on Friday after she was struck by a vehicle at the Bargain Shop store on Queen Street in Chatham.

Visitation will be at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street in Chatham today (Monday, July 27) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Cassie’s funeral will be conducted at Praise Fellowship Church, 165 Park Avenue East in Chatham tomorrow (Tuesday July 28) at 1:30 p.m.

Interment is at the Maple Leaf Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Cassie are going to the Ronald McDonald House or another children’s charity.
