Police: Death of Bothwell boy not suspicious

On Monday afternoon (April 27), a two-and-a-half year old Bothwell boy was transported to Four Counties Hospital with absent vital signs and was later pronounced dead. A post mortem was conducted yesterday morning at London Health Sciences Centre, said Chatham-Kent police officials.

Based on the results of the post mortem and the investigation, the Chatham-Kent Police Major Crime Unit has determined that the death is not suspicious and the investigation is complete.

The details of the post mortem will not be released by police to respect the grieving family.
